Electrotherapy is the workhorse adjunct in a chiropractic office: it quiets muscle guarding so the segment is easier to adjust. Commonly run pre-adjustment to relax hypertonic paraspinals, or post-adjustment for pain control before the patient leaves. A compact, portable analog TENS unit with two isolated channels and three modes: Burst, Continuous and Modulation. Intensity is adjustable from 0 to 80 mA, rate from 2 to 120 Hz, and pulse width is adjustable. It delivers an asymmetrical bi-phasic square pulse. The timer offers 30 minutes, 60 minutes or continuous. Protective caps over the knobs help prevent accidental changes to intensity. It runs on one 9 V battery. Includes the device, a hard plastic carrying case, 2 lead wires, 4 electrodes, a 9 V battery and the manual. Made in Taiwan. Rx device.
