Flexion-distraction tables support Cox-style technique — the axis of chiropractic care for disc involvement and stenosis where a direct thrust is not indicated. Ankle-lock the patient and work the caudal section through flexion, lateral flexion and circumduction to decompress the segment without a thrust. The Lloyd Galaxy McManis Elevation combines hydraulic elevation with flexion-distraction. Manual flexion and powered pelvic extension and retraction are standard, along with lateral bending. Standard features: deluxe adjustable headpiece, one-piece adjustable chest with adjustable-tension spring breakaway (when no drops are ordered), chest/pelvic separation, length extension, lumbar extension cushion, ankle rest adjustable vertically and horizontally, and ankle straps. Height range 22" to 38" (24" to 40" also available). Length 64" to 90". Cushion width 21". Options include an electronic height selector, programmable automatic flexion, rotating chest, pelvic rotation, manual and automatic cocking drops, and a manual drop ankle.
