Elasto-Gel™ Multi-Purpose Hot & Cold Therapy Wrap
Hot and cold therapy brackets the chiropractic adjustment — heat to prepare tissue, ice to settle an acute segment afterward. Moist heat before the adjustment to reduce guarding; cold after an acute adjustment to control the inflammatory response. A rectangular Elasto-Gel™ sheet about 3/8" thick, covered in blue 4-way stretch material. The 4"x24", 6"x16" and 6"x24" sizes have one adjustable strap; the 9"x24", 6"x30" and 9"x30" sizes have two. Use it hot or cold for relief of minor aches and pains. The glycerin-based gel gives a moist heat sensation and stays flexible even at -20°F. It won't dry out or leak if punctured. It holds its temperature for about 20–30 minutes. Latex free. Made in the USA by Southwest Technologies. Sizes: 4"x24", 6"x16", 6"x24", 9"x24", 6"x30", 9"x30". Do not overheat: follow the heating directions supplied with the wrap. The gel may feel only warm, but an overheated wrap can transfer too much heat and damage the skin. Do not use hot or cold therapy over areas with impaired sensation, or if you have circulatory problems, unless supervised by a health care professional.
